There are two types of shoes: injection molding and cold gluing. Injection molding means that the shoes are made by machines. After the upper is tied to the aluminum last, the turntable machine directly injects PVC, TPR and other materials to form the sole at one time. Now there is also PU (chemical name polyurethane) injection molding (the machine and mold are different from general injection molding). Advantages: Because it is made by machine, the output is large and the price is low. Disadvantages: If there are many styles, it is troublesome to change the mold, the shoes are difficult to shape, and the workmanship is not as exquisite as cold gluing shoes, so it is generally suitable for orders with a single sole style.

Cold gluing is also what people often say is handmade shoes. Those famous brand shoes in Italy and Spain belong to this category. Generally, cold gluing assembly line processing is required (except for family workshops). Cold gluing soles are generally provided by factories specializing in soles. If they do not have molds for soles, they need to open molds separately. Generally, sole factories open molds for free for more than 10,000 pairs. The method is to glue the upper surface with glue after it is shaped with plastic lasts. Advantages: Fine workmanship and good effect of shoes. Disadvantages: small daily output, high price, generally suitable for medium-sized and above factories to form scale.

How to distinguish: The most obvious feature of cold-glued and injection-molded shoes is the sole. Injection-molded shoes have a line on the heel or edge, which is left when the shoes come out of the mold. The line on the cold-glued sole is on the side where the upper and sole are bonded, so it cannot be seen.
